Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how CaloriePlanning subscriptions and free trials work, how to cancel, and when refunds are and aren't available. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It is provided by CaloriePlanning LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("CaloriePlanning," "we," "us," or "our").
Effective date: June 21, 2026
How Subscriptions Work
- Free private beta. Before paid plans launch, CaloriePlanning may be offered as a free private beta. During the beta, there is no charge and no payment is collected. We may change, limit, or end the beta at any time.
- Paid plans. When paid subscriptions become available, we expect to offer monthly and annual plans at the prices shown at checkout or on our pricing page. The price, billing period, and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm.
- Billing and payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. When you subscribe, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the plan you selected.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
- Renewal date. Your subscription renews on the same calendar date each period (or the nearest valid date for shorter months). You can see your plan and next renewal date in the in-app billing portal.
Free Trials
If we offer a free trial: the length and terms will be stated at sign-up; a payment method may be required to start a trial, but you will not be charged during the trial period; unless you cancel before the trial ends, your trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged for the first billing period; to avoid being charged, cancel before the trial period ends. Free trials are limited to one per customer unless we state otherwise.
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time. When you do: cancellation stops future renewals, and you will not be charged again for that subscription after the cancellation takes effect; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; and cancelling part-way through a billing period does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the unused portion of that period. Because the private beta is free, there is nothing to cancel for billing purposes during the beta.
How to Cancel
- In-app billing portal (Stripe). Sign in, open your account or billing settings, and use the billing portal to cancel.
- Email us. Send a cancellation request to support@calorieplanning.com from the email address associated with your account.
To make sure you are not charged for the next period, please cancel before your renewal date.
Refunds
Default position: Except where required by law or as expressly stated in this policy, payments already made are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods that you do not fully use. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, but we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remaining, unused portion.
Where refunds are required by law
Some jurisdictions give consumers refund, cancellation, or "cooling-off" rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable law.
Discretionary refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, choose to issue a full or partial refund or account credit in individual cases. Doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@calorieplanning.com from the email address associated with your account and include: the email or account the charge is associated with; the approximate date and amount of the charge; and a brief description of the reason. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
Timing of Approved Refunds
If we approve a refund, it is issued through Stripe to the original payment method. After we initiate it, the time for funds to appear is controlled by Stripe and your bank and is typically 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued in the original currency of the charge.
Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, an incorrect amount, or a charge you do not recognize — contact us at support@calorieplanning.com as soon as possible. If we confirm that you were incorrectly charged, we will refund the incorrect amount, regardless of the general non-refundable position above.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. We can almost always resolve billing issues faster and more directly than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback for a legitimate charge (rather than working with us) may result in suspension or termination of your account while the dispute is reviewed. This does not affect your ability to dispute a charge you genuinely believe is fraudulent or unauthorized.
Changes to Pricing
We may change our subscription prices over time. Any price change applies to future billing periods. We will give you advance notice of a price increase that affects your subscription, by email and/or through the Service, before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before your next renewal to avoid being charged at the new rate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective date above and notify you by reasonable means.
