Medical & Nutrition Disclaimer

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Please read this Medical & Nutrition Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") carefully before using CaloriePlanning. By accessing or using the CaloriePlanning web application and any related content, tools, calculations, plans, or materials (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer. The Service is provided by CaloriePlanning LLC ("CaloriePlanning," "we," "us," or "our"), a Florida limited liability company. If you do not agree with this Disclaimer, do not use the Service.

1. For General Informational Purposes Only

All content, calorie and macronutrient targets, plans, progress views, calculations, recommendations, and other materials provided through the Service are for general educational and informational purposes only. The Service is a planning tool that helps adults set calorie and macronutrient targets and plan a calorie deficit or surplus for body-composition goals. It is intended for general fitness and wellness purposes only.

The Service is not a medical or healthcare service, and it does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical, or other professional advice. Nothing in the Service is a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare professional who knows your individual circumstances.

2. No Professional Relationship

Your use of the Service does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, practitioner-client, or any other professional, fiduciary, or treatment relationship between you and CaloriePlanning or anyone associated with it. We do not know you, your medical history, or your individual health needs, and we do not monitor your health. No content within the Service should be interpreted as personal or individualized advice directed at you.

3. Consult a Professional Before You Begin

Always consult a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare professional before: starting, changing, or stopping any diet, eating plan, calorie-deficit or calorie-surplus program, fasting protocol, supplement regimen, or exercise program; acting on any calorie target, macronutrient target, plan, or other output from the Service; or making any decision that may affect your health.

This is especially important, and you should seek professional medical clearance first, if you: have or suspect you have any medical or mental health condition (including but not limited to diabetes, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, an eating disorder or history of disordered eating, a thyroid or metabolic condition, or any condition affected by diet or weight); are pregnant, may be pregnant, are trying to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding or nursing; are taking any medication or are under medical supervision; are under 18 years of age (the Service is intended only for adults); are recovering from illness, injury, or surgery; or have any other reason to believe that changing your diet, calorie intake, or activity level could affect your health.

Do not disregard, avoid, or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you have read or accessed through the Service.

4. Calculations Are General Estimates

The Service's calculations — including calorie targets, macronutrient targets, estimated energy needs, projected progress, and timelines — are general estimates produced by standardized formulas and the information you provide. They are not precise, individualized prescriptions and may not be accurate for you.

Individual nutritional and caloric needs vary widely based on factors such as age, sex, genetics, body composition, activity level, health conditions, medications, and other circumstances that the Service cannot fully account for. Results are not guaranteed, and outcomes differ from person to person. You are responsible for monitoring how you feel and for adjusting or discontinuing use in consultation with a qualified professional.

5. Not Intended to Diagnose, Treat, Cure, or Prevent Any Disease

The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease, illness, or health condition, and it makes no such claims. The Service is not a medical device. No statement within the Service has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority.

6. Eating Disorders — Please Read

We care about your well-being. Tools that involve counting calories, tracking food, restricting intake, or focusing on body weight and composition are not appropriate for everyone, and for some people they can contribute to or worsen disordered eating.

If you have, are recovering from, or are at risk of an eating disorder or disordered eating — or if tracking calories, restricting food, or focusing on your weight causes you anxiety, distress, obsessive thoughts, or harmful behavior — please do not use the Service, and reach out to a qualified healthcare professional, counselor, or trusted support resource for help. You deserve support, and recovery is possible.

If you are in crisis or think you may harm yourself, please see the emergency note in Section 8 and contact your local emergency services immediately.

7. Assumption of Risk and Your Responsibility

You use the Service voluntarily and at your own risk. Changing your diet, calorie intake, or activity level carries inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for your choices, actions, and results. You are solely responsible for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for you; obtaining medical clearance and professional guidance before acting on any output; the accuracy of the information you enter; and any decisions you make and any consequences that follow.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaloriePlanning LLC and its members, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its content. This Disclaimer supplements, and does not replace, our Terms of Service.

8. Medical Emergencies

The Service does not provide emergency services and cannot help in a crisis. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on the Service for urgent or emergency medical needs.

9. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the Service after any change means you accept the updated Disclaimer.
